Hi there,

I am running Fusion 360 on a macbook air M1 and fusion is very very slow to open to process task and even sometimes does not open at all. It seems Fusion is well supported for my Macbook air so what could be the issue?

Thx a lot for helping

@all_access We will certainly need some more specifics to see how we can help out. your Mac is most certainly should have the supported hardware for Fusion.

1. What macOS are you on? Are you up-to-date in terms of all the OS updates?
2. Do you have multiple monitors or any other accessories like a 3d space mouse connected to your system?
3. IF you go to your launchpad - Fusion service utility - run the Repair Fusion - restart the machine - use the product now - let us know if the experience is any better.
4. Does the product crash for you and if it does do you send in the reports? one report ID would help find the reports you have submitted.
5. If you are experiencing the Fusion cannot launch problem the next time, can you go into Launchpad - Fusion Service utility - Gather system info - attach the Fusiondiagnosticslogs.zip file here ?

Hello, thank you very much for your reply.

Pls find the additional info requested.

1. What macOS are you on? Are you up-to-date in terms of all the OS updates?

Fusion 360 2.0.17954 arm64 [Native]
Active Plan: Personal
macOS 14.0 (23A344) on MacBookAir10,1
2. Do you have multiple monitors or any other accessories like a 3d space mouse connected to your system?

No
3. IF you go to your launchpad - Fusion service utility - run the Repair Fusion - restart the machine - use the product now - let us know if the experience is any better.

I did test this before opening this issue and it did improve just a little bit the opening time of Fusion on my macbook but it is not so significtant.
4. Does the product crash for you and if it does do you send in the reports? one report ID would help find the reports you have submitted.

The prodcut sometimes crashes and i have to force to quit. I have sent y/day a report to Autodesk but i can't find the ID - if any idea how to retrieve ?
5. If you are experiencing the Fusion cannot launch problem the next time, can you go into Launchpad - Fusion Service utility - Gather system info - attach the Fusiondiagnosticslogs.zip file here ?

I did perform the download of the log zip file. Before attaching it here, could you please tell me if there are any sensitive information in those files ?

thx a lot for your support
