Hiya,

I lost all my files on fusion360 a few weeks ago, they don't appear in the file directory or in the Fusion360 dashboard. I carried on making new files and saving them, they save and are available but now I need to access the old files.

For a while I could still access them only on my home computer but they have since disappeared. Please let me know if anyone can think of a way of finding them again.

Greetings,

We are making improvements in discoverability of a Team switcher. A team is a site that offers collaboration and data management. You can be a member of multiple Teams, depending on your activities eg. divisions within a large org msy warrant a team of their own, or you are invites to Your customers’ or suppliers’ teams to collaborate, in addition to having own Team site.
Currently, you may find the switcher in the top right corner of the application under your profile image, then select to switch to a Team in case of many. Based on this limited information, my guess is that you or an administrator may have transferred some or all of your projects to a Team environment. Another thing to watch out for is where you save your Fusion 360 assets by opening its data panel and see the name of the Team or your single-user storage at its top bar.

I could be wrong, but lets start there - a recent feeedback has been that users cannot locate the data they saved of moved, and all reasons were that they struggle with locating the site where they stored them. We have no downtime or any indicator whatsoever of data loss; all lights totally green.
Moving forward, we intend to place the Team site switcher within the data panel of Fusion 360 for ease of access.

Regards,

Hi Harry,

   Greetings!

I am just wondering if you may have any updates on this issue. Have you tried switching to the team as described in Martin's reply?

It'd be very helpful for further diagnosis and improvement if you may share with me the local log files from your instance of Fusion360. You may read this help if you need help on how to collect the log files: How to collect the Diagnostic Log Files for Fusion 360

Thanks

Shijun
