Lose Fold Lines Sketch to Sheet Metal

Hello All,

Apologies and thanks in advance! I started with tutorials but ran out of Project slots and haven't decided if I'm going to buy a subscription yet.  I'm a total n00b but I love the software so far.

I sketched out a template I made and when I convert it to Sheet Metal in Fusion I lose two of my fold lines.

I've included a screenshot.

Please attach your model so the Forum users can take a look to try and determine an answer for you.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Your model is a sheet metal body without bends.  You do have bend line locations in your sketch but you did not define the actual bends.  The video will explain.  Using the Bend command is not the best method for creating new sheet metal bodies.  It is since you already had a pre-sketched body but if beginning a new sheet metal body, it is best to use the Flange command.  I did a brief demonstration at the end of the video.

Dear Sir,

Words typed here cannot express my gratitude for the time you took to teach me this valuable lesson. No amount of exclamation points can accentuate how awesome this experience feels, so I won't use any.

Thank you very much, kind Sir.

Last issue is folding the top most line.

If you are going to continue using Fusion 360 and hope to "succeed" in your work, you MUST start completely constraining and dimensioning your sketches.  In this case the outside bend would not work because one of your sketch lines was not horizontal to the rest of the model.  I only added the required sketch constraints, but you should go back and fully constrain your sketch.  Model is attached.
