Logitech Options MX3 Windows

Hi all,

I have seen multiple items on the forum addressing this issue. But none of the ideas presented a solution. So allow me to ask for advice.

Since a month, I have a new pc. So I have to set up everything again. I am also using the MX 3 (logitech mouse). I used to have special key bidings to smoothen the design process, but now, with the new pc, I am unable to do this.

In Logitech options, I can select the app, (for example Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and Fusion 360. Unfortunately, I can only select the Fusionlauncher (shown in picture). Of course, this will not work while using the program.
There is also this option to manually add a program to the mouse. When doing this, I see (again) only the Fusionlauncher as an option.
All other programs works just fine with the mouse.

I really hope someone can help me out. This would be a shame when Fusion doesn't support Logitech's extra mouse buttons...

I have been using the Logitech SetPoint Event Manager to assign Mouse buttons for use with Fusion 360 for a long time.  You have the correct Fusion 360 Launching exe file but you need to make sure that the Logitech Setpoint Event Manager application is setup to startup with Windows.  Look in your Task Manager and verify it is.  Then is only a matter of configuration within the manager for your buttons.

Hi! Thanks for your reply.

I have downloaded it, and it's placed at the startup of Windows.
Unfortunately, I can't open the SetPoint. It feels more like a driver of some sort, than a program. It's running in the background, and so is Logitech Option Plus (in which I selected Fusion Launcher and entered the key bindings).

So far, it is not working.

I really hope someone is able to help!

In my previous post, I was using Windows 10 and Logitech Setpoint software works well.  You got me curious so I went to another computer, running Windows 11, and the Logitech software is completely different.  I am using a Logitech M510 cordless mouse and on Windows 11 it requires the Logitech software "Logitech Options +".  The process of configuration is convoluted but in the end it works well with Fusion 360.

If you are using Windows 11 and a Logitech compatible mouse and cannot get it to work, let me know and I will create a video of the configuration process.

By the way, if you are replying to a particular Forum post, you the "Reply" icon on the post you are responding to.  That way you are addressing the person and not yourself.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply!!

Indeed, I have Windows 11 and a Logitech Mouse. The weird thing is, on my previous pc (also Windows 11) it worked amazing!
A video would be very nice! Looking forward to your message.

Thanks!

First of all, make sure Fusion 360 is closed.  The video will go through the process.  You have the link to Logitech Option + I sent in an earlier post.  On my installation of this application it also required me to download Logi Bolt which I show in the video.  Good luck.
