Little snitch might stop Fusion from opening

After upgrading to Little Snitch to version 5.1.2 on Mac mini M1, Fusion does not start even if no rules are applied.

I have to turn off network filter to get Fusion opening.

Been working with both for years without problems.

Anyone have experienced this?

@sgingras unfortunately I am not able to reproduce this with Fusion 360 and an M1 device running Little Snitch. If you turn off Wifi or disconnect from the internet, does Fusion start? If so, it's likely Little Snitch is blocking some traffic calls required by Fusion for initialization of online services - if some are allowed through but others fail, Fusion will reattempt for some time before giving up, whereas starting offline will signal to Fusion to not bother trying with other traffic calls until a connection can be confirmed.

It might have been Screencast, it was not up to date and not signed-in.

I did the upgrade and sign-in, and everything is almost normal.

I still need to authenticate with a security code each time I open Fusion, is that now the norm?

@sgingras we are chasing an issue where the presence of Screencast causes Fusion 360 to require sign-in with each launch. Uninstalling Screencast will work around this issue in the meantime.
