Line on curved surface to create a loft

Hi,

I am trying to create a loft between a surface and a curved wall - see picture.

I am able to create a loft between the base of the component and a line created on a flat wall using a sketch. If I apply the same logic, I need to create a line on a curve surface (corner of the component on the picture) which I can't figure out how to do. Is that the right approach?

Thanks

Create a plane then a sketch at the correct height then use project - intersect to create the curve.

Thank you Mark for your answer.

I used this tool prior to posting but I must be missing something. I can get a line on the curved surface but it is in the plane parallel to the bottom of the component. The line needs to be in the plane of the wall.

I have attached a screenshot of a working loft (on a flat wall) and the issue I get when trying to select the curved line for the loft in the corner (the blue cross is where my mouse is). I can only select the entire curved surface.

Hopefully what I am saying makes sense. If not, I can make a video.

By the sounds of it you haven’t got the correct geometry sorted to make a loft.

Try Surface > Loft.  Select the purple arc on the wall, and the corner point of the floor landing.

you will have to decide how to fill in the area under the loft.

Could be wrong.

Thank you for your answer davebYYPCU. If you look at the screenshots of my second message, you will see that I correctly use the loft feature.

I found a way to overcome my problem. I reverted back to the creation of the enclosure right before I created the fillets inside. I was then able to do my lofts with right angles. After that, I applied the fillets inside in the corners. I ended up getting what I wanted!
