Limited toolbar while Edit in place

When editing a component in the context "Edit in place", the toolbars avalible are quite limited. For instance going to the surface ribbon there are very few avalible actions.

Is there an option to reach the original toolbars when "Edit in place"?

no, there is not.  Each command must be changed to work correctly with Edit in Place, and not all commands have been updated.  The list will increase over time, but there is no way to access the unmodified commands currently
