Last 2 CER reports from today did not save recovery file

The last 2 CER's from today did not save recovery files. In both cases I attempted to stitch surfaces into a solid body.

I've had 5-6 crashes over the last week just stitching surfaces. If the loft tool does not throw a stick in your wheels, this certainly does!

I can also fully repeatably and reliably crash Fusion 360 by patching one hole twice and then trying to stitch. I understand that stitching two identical patches makes little sense, but Fusion should not crash.

Hi @TrippyLighting

Thanks for posting! I had a look at your crash reports and it looks like you have been crashing due to a known defect - ARRO-7836. It looks like you were able to trigger this defect by stitching two identical patches together. Unfortunately I was unable to reproduce this behavior and our development team has closed the bug (they have been unable to reproduce in the most recent version of Fusion). I have made a note on the report that you have been experiencing crashes related to this defect.

Do you have a model that you can easily reproduce the crash with? If so please send it my way so we can test on our end.

As for the recovery files, it is possible that Fusion did not create them. Fusion can fail to autosave a design when you are in an active command - trimming and stitching surfaces could cause this. The defect in your crash reports is also marked as an ARRO project defect - this suggests that it is related to the cloud framework and it is possible that this prevented a recovery file from being uploaded to the cloud.

Fusion 360 recovery files are saved locally before being uploaded to the cloud. Please refer to this article to check your local recovery folder for the missing files. If this does not help, we can confirm if a recovery file was created by having a look at the diagnostic logs - please let me know the name of the file that was not recovered.
