Kevin Kennedy Birdhouse Tutorial - Where to get help?

Following PDO’s (Kevin Kennedy’s website) One-Board Birdhouse tutorial (my first F360 project!l), I’ve gotten all the way to the roof and am stumped on the “Narrow Roof” component. The midline of the roof draft is supposed to snap to the midline of a construction line drawn between the peaks of the two end walls, but after trying it about a hundred times mine doesn’t budge from where the rectangle is drafted at the completion of this step.

Any help much appreciated!

Please attach your model so the forum users can give you specific help to your situation.  If you do not know how to attach your model, open it in Fusion 360, select the File menu then Export and save it to your hard drive.  Use the Attachments section of any forum post to attach it.  Please also verify that this is the tutorial page you are referring to.

Have you asked Kevin in the comments section of the video?

Thanks for the guidance. I have copied the file but can't see where there's a place on the forum to attach it to my post.

Follow the screen capture show in my reply post.  The attachments section shown is below the Details section where you post your questions.  You can create a reply post and it will be available.  In the meantime since I did not hear from you I created a Screencast to show your the process you are asking for help on.  There are a couple of ways to center and position the narrow roof rectangle, in the video I showed you two.

This now appears to be working, using both the methods you illustrated in your screencast. I'm a total newbie beginner, both to CAD and Fusion 360, so by following your clear instructions I can tell you I learned a lot. It's also very reassuring to find such a responsive user base on these forums, since I was beginning to feel a bit lost - my experience so far is that the Fusion 360 help guides from the help menu just directs me to a wide range of articles rather than step-by-step solutions. Also helped me learn how to post a file to the forum, all simple stuff for the experts here but great leaps forward from a "0" start! My great thanks for your help. Copy attached.
