Keep parameters window showing

Is there a way to keep the parameters window showing while I am designing? Also, is there a way to print the parameters window?

I would like the parameters window to be NON-MODAL (remain open) as well. Perhaps if the issue were auto-updating parameters they could add an Apply button (next to the OK button as per professional windows design practices.)
