I have been using fusion for about 5 years. I use it very, very infrequently.  I am just asking if some kind person can confirm that Fusion will not let you export a dxf file?

No, that's not right.

Sketches and Flat Patterns can be exported.

Drawings are above my pay grade.

File export as Dxf may not work, never tried it, as I extract my data from sketches.

To add to @davebYYPCU comments, using the Personal Fusion License, you cannot export to DXF from a 2D Drawing.
