Joints and Rotation with Respect to Reference Plane

Hi All,

I'm trying to rotate the below component (highlighted in blue) so the construction line pointed by the red arrow will be parallel to the side pointed by a blue arrow. (see below)

I have tried to adjust the rotation option of the joint I created and also limited the joints rotation. See the screen shots below depicting the settings I've adjusted.

The part still remains ever so slightly off parallel to the side I've pointed with a blue arrow in the first screen shot provided.

Is there a way to adjust this so the construction line is parallel to the wall of interest?

Measure the angle.

Red line to blue edge, with Measure Tool.  Copy that value to Memory, (Left Click the value in the dialogue window - nothing happens visually)

Edit the Planar Joint, paste the value in the rotate panel, (and then add or subtract modules of 90 degrees if it is not aligned.)

Might help...

Yes, I can definitely see this as a solution and will give that a try. I was hopping there may be a reference I could add or define in the settings.

Thanks for the idea!
