Issues with Sketches & Intersect projections to Sketches

Strange issues with latest build of Fusion 360.

Active Plan: Fusion 360, Subscription
Windows 10 (19042)

1. Create sketch on construction plane
2. Create intersect projections to that sketch
3. When I close the Project dialog, only some of the projections are actually saved into the sketch, despite them being visible during selection.
4. Sketch ( containing the projections ) is only visible if the original geometries are selected, otherwise it's blank.

Hi,

Note that intersection tool maps the intersections with a non-parallel geometry. No lines are projected.

Hi Guenther,

none of the lines I'm intersecting are parallel with the plane, in fact they are all almost perpendicular - this is why I can'r understand why only some of them work....

Sorry, I shouldn't be using the wording around projection - I'm only talking about Intersection

If you look at my screencast, you will see as I select each geometry (line) the red dot shows the intersection on the drawing plane for each one.

But when I close the dialog box, only a couple of them show as intersections on the drawing plane, some just disappear.

I see exactly that process - too.  I have not worked out why, but I would suggest selecting the faces in your video, and can’t remember how I fix it, start over usually works, because it is normally a new sketch when it happens to me, like you I collect my projections first.

Jeff’s bucket of projecting errors is not empty.

OK, so found a workaround, as it's ok to use in my case... should have tried it earlier .....

It does put unwanted stuff in my sketch but can live with it.

Instead of selecting individual lines (geometries) to intersect with the sketch on the construction plane, I selected "bodies" as per the screenshot below. This allows me to get the intersections of the two bodies that wont project the intersections by selecting the lines -  so tells me this is a bug.
