Hello everyone,
Yesterday, I downloaded Autodesk Fusion 360 on my M1 MacBook Air for the first time. As a student, I have the free Education plan and thus no way to contact support. I can open the program and work in it without any issues. However, the following things are not working as they should:
- When I try to open the data panel at the top left, the window opens on the left side of the screen, but there's only a spinning circle as a loading icon in this window.
- When I try to save a file, I get the following error message: "Fusion is synchronizing the data with cloud storage. Please try again in a moment."
- When I try to activate offline mode, I see the following message: "Sorry, Fusion was unable to save sufficient data for Offline mode and needs to go Online. Please make sure you have a working Internet connection to continue."
- When I try to uninstall Fusion via the utility, I get the following error message: "Fusion cannot be uninstalled at this time because at least one application process is already running, etc."
- Fusion regularly shuts down with the error message: "A software problem has caused Fusion to close unexpectedly"
All of this suggests that my laptop has internet connection issues, but this is not the case. I have tried it with three different WIFI connection (my home, my university, the library). Even the network diagnostic test in the utility indicates that there are no issues with the network connection. I've already tried restarting my laptop, but that didn't help. I also tried to use the following commends, but that didn't work out either.
Fusion.CancelUploads
Fusion.CancelUploads/force
As a last resort, I tried to perform the described manual clean uninstall. However, this failed initially because the folders (MC3, FusionDoc 20XX or FusionDoc, Synergy, Neutron, Neutron Platform, NINVFUS, Production, Web Services, Webdeploy) were not all in the designated location in the Library. I then uninstalled Fusion using Omni Remover, reinstalled it, but the problem remains exactly the same. I'm really completely clueless and would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you very much!
