Hello,
I use fusion 360 since 3 mouth now and I found it's a powerful tool and all issues I had since my beggining on it are user adoption issues.
For a work , I have to execute some simulation on an assembly. My partner design the mechanical system (30 years of work behind him) and i modelized the system in fusion.
After some issues, I have done my drawing for the customer, but now we have to proove the system can resist to his constraint and this when I have problem.
The system is basiclly a frame which support a big bag. This big bag, when the system is in use, contain a 500kg mass.
This big bag is on the frame with some holding stud (the upside of the frame, 12 metal pieces 😞
So i modelized the effort with distant strength witch come from all the holding stud and I have a correct result (security coeffficent is not perfect but i think it's a issues of the simulation)
This project have to be stacked when its not use, 3 frame on one(on the ground) , like this :
And it's where I have the problem, I simplify the model and put the effort, but the simulation says the mechanical stress is beyond the structure can support. The aera of deformation seems to be good but the valor are bigger than expect. My partner who have more experience than me but doesn't use computer (old school work, 30 years of metal work and welding) and says the structure can support the constraint, can you help me with thtis subject ?
I put the rapport of this simulations in zip files, and I'll try to reply to all questions you can have. I have only 2 years of mechanical design XP, and a beginner in simulation. I want to learn so say me if i did so dumb work or stupid error.
PS: sorry for the spelling mistakes, I'm a french who doesn't practice english often unfortunately.
