Issue with using "old" sketches

Not sure if I did something, or Fusion broke (or it has always been like this!?). But I can no longer use an "old" sketch for new features. Example: I create a sketch on a plane and extrude it. Then I delete the extrusion (select it in Design History and press delete) and then immediately try to extrude from the same sketch again. Then I cannot see the sketch on the plane any more, and I can not select it for extrusion. Same if I try to use the sketch to something else. The sketch is still in the Design History and I can edit it. But I cannot use it for anything?!

Here is an example of the situation:

The sketch is the last one in the Design History and it is selected. However, the selection in the view looks a bit different from usual. Not sure why. If I now attempt to e.g. do and extrusion:

I can only select the whole plane, not the sketch?

Anyone has any input on this?

I have not seen anything like this before.  I tried a simple case, and it seemed to work OK for me.  Is the sketch actually visible? (is it's "eyeball" and all containing eyeballs on?).  Can you share the design that is showing this problem?

This seem to happen to anything I make. I think Fusion must have broke some how. Attached gives me the issue. I do not think I can make a sketch invisible in Fusion, can I ? The part is visible.

Ok, so I, or really @jeff_strater actually, solved it. The sketch was not visible. I did not know that the sketch can be hidden in the Browser. After un-hiding it, I can do operations again. Thanks for the quick reply and help!

glad that helped.  By default, Fusion will auto-hide a sketch when it is consumed by a feature.  You can disable that if you want, with this preference:

But, be careful with this.  Your design will end up littered with visible sketches.  Most people prefer to have this option enabled.
