Issue with Permissions

When I attempted to uninstall and reinstall Fusion 360 due to unstable connections to cloud data, I encountered a “permission issue” error that prevented the installation from completing. The sequence of steps I took is as follows:

  1. In Fusion 360, some files could no longer be opened, and it failed to connect to the internet (even though the PC was actually connected). To resolve this, I used the Fusion Server Utility (I’m not entirely sure about the name) to perform repair and cache deletion about three times, but the issue was not fixed.

  2. Uninstalled Fusion 360.

  3. Downloaded Fusion 360 from the Autodesk website and attempted to install it, but the error above occurred.

System environment: MacBook Pro / M2 Max / macOS 15.6.1

Hello @Micronet_Design ,

First, try this troubleshooting form  to help solve the most common issues causing issues installing Fusion.
Alternatively, you can follow the manual steps below:

Note: If the message "[Errno 13] Permission denied" appears in the error details, see "PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied" when updating or installing Fusion 360

Perform the following:

  1. Check the Activity Manager (Mac) to quit any processes related to Fusion.
On Mac, end any processes named "Fusion360" in the Activity Monitor.
  1. Run the installer again.
  2. If the installer still fails, virus-scanning software may be blocking the Fusion installation. In this case, you will need to modify the security settings or temporarily disable the virus-scanning software, and then run the installer again. See Configuring anti-virus software for use with Fusion 360

Let me now if any of the above solution works
