This has been driving me crazy and it is happening on a few of my files. You cant see the extrude tool window because of the recording software I am using but it is there. Also the sketches all appear to be closed so I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Please attach your model so the Forum users can take a look.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it. If needed, ZIP a F3Z file.

There does seem to be an issue with the extrusion of two of the bosses but you method should not be use anyway.  Your sketch is way to complex as you should only sketch one boss, extrude it and then pattern that one boss around the rim.  This keeps your sketch simply and the application functions better.  Video attached.

I couldn't use circular pattern because it wouldn't work for ovals (when parameter DVert and DHorz are not equal, which is most of the situations this part is used in) but I understand the sketch is very complicated, I think a radial pattern geometry tool would be helpful or some other method. I ended up fixing the issue by just starting a new file so I'm still not sure what the issue was.

Is that the intention?

Then use Pattern on Path. Or Mirror 1/4

You are using computationally expensive sketching techniques.  You will continue to have difficulties.

This can be significantly simplified with computationally efficient techniques.

I am confident that the issues can be addressed and resolved to result in robust and predictable behavior.
