Issue Uploading DWG to Fusion

Anonymous
Not applicable

I've been using Fusion 360 for a few weeks now, trying to transition from modeling in AutoCAD, and so far, I've been very impressed with the ease of bringing over DWG files using "Upload" in Fusion 360.

However, last week I can no longer Upload DWG files (correctly)

Instead of uploading and converting to Fusion files, they just come in as non-converted DWG  files and cannot open in Fusion.

I usually click the upload button on the data panel and drag in my DWG files to bring over.

Is there a new way to upload files that I'm missing? I haven't seen anyone else with this issue.

I have uploaded a screenshot. All the files in the list are imported DWG files. The ones with the "cube" were uploaded prior to last week, and open fine. The one that still have the DWG logo and preview were uploaded after last week, and does not open in Fusion.

I have even tried uploading many different DWG files, deleting many, so not to add clutter.

I have even tried uploading the same DWG files as have the "cube" icon, that I have not been saved since I have uploaded, and they still upload with the DWG logo and preview and do not open.

What licence do you have? Don't think you can import DWGs anymore with the personal licence. Not sure if DXF still works.

Also please don't attach pictures. There's an option Photos on the editor toolbar to embed them, please use this option.

I was looking at the sale for Fusion Pro earlier.

I wish I was told that after the sale ended, I would lose features from the Personal version.

I still can't find a breakdown of features between the different versions of Fusion 360, can you attach a link for it?

Here's a link to the October 28th what's new, near the bottom there's a link to more info on each licence type. Looking at that link, you only get local translators with the personal licence so no DWG. If the files are 2d only you could convert to DXF and import with insert DXF.
