i have noticed a marked decrease in performance in the last few days 😞

i am running a  fast dell workstation etc.

i checked for  any items in the background but nothing else is running.

I closed fusion and reopened with a simple model ...  still slow.

help or thoughts ????????

ps typical is to click edit in manufacturing and  it takes a long time ( relative to the past) for the popup edit window to appear etc.........

thanks

john

Hi,

There is nothing system wide (the cloud) that should slow down your local interactions such as modeling commands. I'm glad to help narrow this down with you.

Are you experiencing lag when opening designs or when editing designs?

Have you tried restarting your computer?

Can you make a video using Autodesk Screencast to demonstrate this effect?

Of course, sharing a link the design or a screenshot would also help greatly.

Thanks,

Are there any unresolved issues highlighted in the Timeline?

@johnptc314159 The issue you linked to has nothing to do with this. In that case the user had a complex sketch that they found was taking too long to compute. Many of us tested that and did not have the same experience, and some slowness can be expected in some situations depending on complex sketches, of which your model has none.

I did not find any performance problems or 5 second delays. Can you make a video to show us, that might help narrow down the steps you are taking and results you are seeing.

In your model, there are some features that show warnings and errors from missing references. Something got deleted or changed drastically to make those happen.

Try deleting the red icon from your timeline, and then redefine the yellow-warning sketch plane. (right click on the yellow icon to find redefine). Does this help with performance?

does not reoccur on new projects 🙂
