Invisible body after mesh to brep.

Ive read several posts on this subject but have not found a working solution.

I have a simple stl that I imported as a mesh. I then selected the mesh en pressed edit. In the mesh environment I did a "mesh to brep" command that created a new body from the mesh....or so I thought.

When trying a body split that seems to have succeeded I noticed that none of the objects in my browser is actually the body I see in my screen. I can turn off all body's including the mesh and still see the body I created using the mesh to brep. If I make the body folder invisible the body does disappear. I have no idea how to solve this.

Can you share that .f3d file ? (please export as .f3d and attach to next post)

here you go. I removed the mesh. I also removed the body that was created when doing the mesh to brep. Removing them did not do anything to the object still visible in the screen. The other invisible part is a din rail clamp I inted to join later.

That does look like a bug to me. If you delete the "remove" item from the timeline, however, you can combine the two bodies. I guess that's what you intend doing ?

I redid the entire proces in a new document. I did notice something.

After importing the stl and doing the mesh to brep I delete the mesh file.

I am then left with the created body. If I do a "remove" on that body I am left with no bodies. Not even the 'bodies' folder in my browser. But still the body is visible in my screen. If I do a "Delete" instead of a "remove" the body does disappear.

Also, If I do a "find in browser" on the mysterious body, nothing happens.

Hi,

1. close and open the  file/Fusion

2. share the file

I also inported the top part and converted that. That one worked without problem.

I still think its a bug that the first one was inivisble.

I ended up tracing the other part and making it from the bottem up.

So this seems to be the only workaround.
