Intersection of a surface of a thickened body, and a sketch

I'm modelling a small wooden boat. With Jeff Strater's help I've been able to describe the outer surface of the boat with patched bodies. I've then thickened those 4mm inwards towards the centre of the boat:

And now, I need to reduce the size of the cross sectional stations at the intersection of the station and the inside surface of the thickened sides and bottoms. The screen shot below is a blow up of the circled area in the shot above:

The blue lines are a sketch of the cross-sectional station. I'm after the shape of that station at the intersection of it and the inside of the sides and bottom (I've started doing that freehand with the yellow line in the snip above).

 

What I'm hoping to do is redraw the smaller stations (cross sections), recreate the surfaces of from those, thicken those surfaces outwards and then flatten them out to give me the shapes to cut out of ply.

Have you thought this through?

The 2 pieces overlap, at inner edge position Bodies 5 and 7 in this pic.

The faces of the thickened bodies at the bow and transom are not matching either.  Zoom in, and will need to match the bow and transom planes - no?

 

New sketch (12) - Create > Project > Intersect the bodies.  You get purple articles.  Add the new geometry, you can edit the selections to suit.  Extrude the station board but does not account for the bevel cuts to fit the side and bottom bodies.  Body 10.

 

All sketch articles should be Black or Purple for best and stable results.

While it works in this case, you should almost never use the patch tool to create a compound-curved 4-sided surface.

 

I think I understand what you want, but the workflow seems needlessly convoluted and error prone. 

Patch the ends (they are flat, sot patch is OK. Loft a top surface.
Stitch that into a solid. Shell by 2mm.
Now you have all the inner surfaces. Offset those by 0mm and thicken individually  by 2 mm.

Now you have all your panels.

 

Unfortunately flattening for compound surfaces does not work directly in Fusion. You'll have to use a hackish workaround with Autodesk Meshmixer.

TrippyLighting - I've tried to follow your suggestions:

 

Patch the ends - check

Loft a top surface - check
Stitch that into a solid - check

Shell by 2mm - i fall over at this point.

 

The Modify/Shell won't let me select my body. Would you mind having a look at seeing what I've done wrong there??

Patch or Loft the top surface, and then stitch, will make a solid that can be Shelled.

Oh Dave, that makes total sense and i can feel a mocking coming, but when I do all that and then try and do the Shell, it doesn't let me select my body:
