Inconsistent behaviour and errors of Draft modification of extruded SVG drawing

G'day,

I'm trying to create a 3D stamp from a SVG drawing. It imports well, however problems begin when extruding shapes with side walls set at an angle (10 deg slope in my case).

I tried both Extrude and Draft and both produce errors on some edges. Straight edges are fine but some curved ones prove problematic. I can't understand the problem because seemingly more complex curves produce expected slope but some don't. In one case mirrored curves produced opposite results – one worked and one didn't.

Is this software limitation or a bug? How can I overcome this? I'm attaching my files.

Thanks.

Hi @rohit.bapat

I haven't got much luck with the latest update of F360. Is this still ongoing and can the ticked be tracked somewhere?

Thanks & regards,

Alex

I have found that using chamfer with distance and angle is more reliable than using draft or extrude with angle for more complicated geometry.
