The latest update 2.0.5811 has fixed the Local and In-canvas render options

But now there is a new problem !

In-canvas renders only while Fusion 360 is the front most app

i.e. If you go to check your mail or anything else the rendering pauses until you return to Fusion 360

Hi @timrutter, can you update to 2.0.5818 and let me know if there are any changes?

As I type this I have an in-canvas render happening behind Chrome, so I might need some additional information to help reproduce this. If 5818 doesn't fix your issue, please let me know, and if possible please provide a recording of this behavior.

You can use Screencast, which will also capture metadata like which command you're using and which app window has focus, but really any recording method will suffice here. I recommend starting the recording with the Graphics Diagnostic window open (Help > Support and Diagnostics > Graphics Diagnostic) as it will eliminate many of my follow-up questions with regard to graphics card, drivers, etc. Alternatively, you may list out your hardware and OS/driver version in the body of your reply.
