Importing STL file to edit on educational mode

Having trouble figuring out how to import an STL file into fusion 360 educational as a model to start editing and test with CFD. tried many videos, forums etc. do i have to use a different autodesk program?

1. start Fusion

2. INSERT > insert mesh

3. Edit mesh > convert to BREP

4. Edit BREP
