Imported mesh doen't print

I need to print a wheel to attach to my motor for a project.

I found an stl file of a wheel; but, it doesn't have a way to connect to my motor shaft

I imported the wheel stl file of a into F360 then added a cylinder to it that would allow me to mount it to my motor.

When right click the model and save as stl to print, all that shows is the cylinder, not the wheel.

If I right-click the MeshBody, and do save as stl, I do get the wheel.

I edited the Mesh and made it water tight.  I also tried to convert the mesh to BRep but it seems to already be BRep as I only get the option to 'convert BRep to Mesh'.

If I render it all looks good, I just can't print the combined piece.

You are mixing body types in your design.  When you created the cylinder for mounting, it was a BRep body, but if your wheel is a mesh, those two bodies will always be separate.  Just because it looks like they are together in the rendered scene, they are still separate bodies.  You need to combine them into one.  You should be able to convert the wheel to BRep.  Generally not a good idea, because the resulting BRep will have too many faces.  But, if all you want to do is combine them and print that is probably acceptable.  Mesh to BRep is only available in a direct modeling design, so you will need to convert your wheel into BRep in a direct design, then you can insert the BRep into the design with the mounting bodies.

It looks like the original issue may have been with the number of pacets in the stl file I am importing )>56K).  It looks like that is too many to convert to a Brep; but, I missed that when I imported it originally.  After that, somehow it thought it was already a Brep (since menu item was "Convert Brep to Mesh"  rather than  "Convert Mesh to Brep".

This time I saw the message and reduced it then converted it then assed the axle feature I needed and it I was able to export it and print it.
