I don't know if you will understand from the attached picture.
If you look at what I've done now, it doesn't fit perfectly in the middle of the sphere and the length of the basic coil is too long.
I want to start from the middle of the sphere and shorten the length of the coil.
I hope I understand your desired model, if so, download it and take the timeline apart to see how I did it. If correct, you can thank @TrippyLighting for the spiral tube technique. He showed me the technique in another post.
