I use fusion 360 on a mac and I am a beginner

I use fusion 360 on a mac and I am a beginner. When I start a sketch and choose the plane to sketch on the plane dosn't turn to the scetch plane. I have to choose the right view in the top right before i can start drawing. Is there something i can correct this

That's normal you can click look at in the sketch plate or set in your preferences

Hi,

This means that when you start the sketch, it automatically switches to the active sketch layer.
However, this setting must be activated in the preferences, which I generally assume.

Autodesk Community I am fairly new to fusion but learning it and slowly designing some good stuff BUT where are the preferences.... despite extensive searching I just can’t find it. 😳 . A bit weird really. 😀
