I need help

I need help. I'm trying to take the selected face and move it laterally by 20 mm to create a slant. I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of and I get nowhere. It's so frustrating because I am certain that it's something simple.

What am I doing wrong?

Make sure the face is highlighted and put the move icon on one end, the corner or the middle should do it, then use the angle handle to change its angle.

Daniel Lyall, thank you but I wasn't talking about that. I want to take that face and move laterally. So that face will make all the slots lateral at an angle. As is, they remain vertical. (What I am suggesting is a basic function of virtually every 3d editing software, this shouldn't be a hard ask.)Do I have to I have to extrude at an angle? How would you do that?

Yes, that would be a draft it's under the modified menu. Extrude the holes straight down - select the faces you want to be moved as the faces then select the top for the pull direction then do the same thing again to the opposite side.

Thank you, but that isn't what I am looking for either, it's just a different way of doing the the exact thing that I don't want to do. It's hinging the face upward and downward. Not moving the face laterally, in any sense of the Word. It does this...

I appreciate your help, I really do. But I think I am miss communicating.

Then do a section analysis of the part sect a long faces and push it in so it goes into the model, then use this visual to explain what you want.

You could create a plane on an angle and then split the body and cut the part You don't need away all together If I'm understanding your question correctly
