I cannot update to the latest version of Fusion 360?

I am using an add-in that was working prior to a fusion 360 update (something about API changes). I reached out to the author, and they have released a new version however I can't get it to run. Inquiring further, they tell me that I need to be on fusion 360 version 2.0.1744, however I am on 2.0.16976 and when I try to update either through fusion 360 "check for updates", or by downloading and running the latest installer, it tells me I am on the latest version.

Is there a way to update to 2.0.1744?

If you use the Fusion 360 Service Utility to Repair Fusion, you will get the latest version.

Posting some more info, but his answer should work for others. For some reason, the service utility failed to work. I had to completely uninstall the application and reinstall. It errored out partway through the uninstall and I had to fight with it for about an hour before it was fully removed and would let me reinstall it again.
