I might be missing something simple, but is there a way to "object snap" the face points to the vertices rather than just the whole surface of mesh or surfaces?   In video stl has been converted to a surface.

thanks,

Philip

it looks like you are expecting the points to snap to vertices on that surface.  That is not how Snap Object works.  I just puts the point, wherever you place it, on the surface, at the closest projection point.  The only snapping to points that occurs in the Face command is to existing T-Spline vertices.

Ah ok thanks, I figured that might be the case.  It would be a nice filter feature for a vertices snap to either plain stls/3mf or surfaces (converted from stl/3mf)  or converted to whatever - could then draw over the more uniform triangle files quickly and accurately when converting to quads doesn't produce what you want, or for just doing small sections.

Thanks!

Philip
