How to remove mates and constraints from an Inventor model on Fusion 360

I have imported a step model from Inventor made by someone else and I can't remove constraints which causes problems such as;

when i make a change on a body the other twin also changes. I only want to edit single body not the other constrainted parts. I'd be happy if you could help me.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach it to the post

I guess the import is creating component instances. After importing the STP file, while still in direct edit mode, right click on the component in the browser and select Make Independant. note, you only get this option in direct edit mode, it's not available if you have history enabled.
