How to Recover Overwritten Model Version?

Hello everyone,

I typically use both a PC and a laptop for my Fusion 360 modeling work. Recently, while opening a model on my PC, I accidentally triggered something that caused the older version from my laptop (version 78) to overwrite the latest progress I had made on the PC (which was greater than version 100, though I’m not sure of the exact number). I’m wondering if there’s any way to recover the more recent version from my PC.

The accidental trigger happened due to the "Document Recovery" window that popped up when I opened the model on my PC. The buttons in this window ("Open," "Delete," "Close," etc.) are tiny and placed close together. I mistakenly clicked the wrong option, which caused the older version to replace the latest one.

I'd appreciate any advice or solutions from anyone who has experienced something similar or knows how to recover the higher version!

Thanks.

Find the version you want to promote in the design's history and open it.

With that version open, from the file menu you will have the option to save as latest.
