Hi Everyone,

I am new to Fusion 360 and have a client that wants to use my 3D models of my products in his designs, how do I provide a model that he can use but lock it so the client can't see inside my product?

How do you intend to share the models with your client?

If you would like to send the customer or vendor a "Dumb" model which looks just like the original but does not contain any "intelligent" components, then this Blog Article and Video is what you want to take a look at.  I will mention, this process only works on an assembly created with Capture Design History activated, in other words, you have a Timeline in your assembly.

Hi,

The client is a small manufacturing business that produces custom equipment which use our products intermittently. I was hoping to send it like a block that they could add into their model. We also have engineers asking for 3D models of our products although I have been hesitant to send them as I don't always know who is the person asking for them.
