how to get rid of an edge of a body

i don't know if the title is good for the others to find similar problems . You can advice new titles so I can edit it. my problem here is the circled edge of the support body under the ramp goes too far into the road body so it cuts it. I tried to use fillet to retract it a little but it was unsuccessful. how can I retract it to a position where it doesn't touch the road from its edge. Thanks

This body is designed to intersect the roadway but if you are wanting the side, you are indicating, to look like the opposite end here is it.  If you want the inside of road support to "just lay on" the outside edge of the roadway, you simple need to change either your sketch, the extrusion or both.  I made it match the opposite end.  Model is attached.
