How to draw a circular sketch which includes parts in it

Hi ,

I need to sketch below shape and need some idea to start it. Could you please let me know how can I start and draw the circular shape of bottom of this Blender and make some shell in it?

I would start with a cylinder, add fillets and then shell for the basic body. Then I would make a sketch on the bottom of what I wanted to cut away. From there you can add features to attach whatever else that you need.
