How to download the Windows version from a Mac?

I'm trying to download the Fusion 360 installation file for Windows from my Mac (I'm going to use it on my virtual Windows machine). For other products, such as Eagle or Autocad, I get the option to choose which version to download, but when clicking the download button for Fusion 360, the download of the Mac version (.dmg file) starts automatically with no option to select versions.

How can I select to download the Windows version from my Mac?

I assume the virtual Windows installation is on you MAC, the I would suggest you jump into that installation, and download and install from there.  You will be in the Windows environment so the download will be correct.  You have to be there anyway to install.

Based on my own experience on a admittedly older iMac I can say that running a 3D CAD system in a VM is usuallly not a very satisfactory experience.

Not my favourite solution either, but after the introduction of a nasty bug in the latest version of Fusion 360 for Mac which renders the software practically impossible to use, it seems to be my only option to get anything done until the bug is fixed.

What bug would that be and can you share your model so we might look at how to work around it ?

I work with Fusion 360 daily on a 2017 Macbook Pro.
