First thing I did was to convert your dome cap into a solid body from a surface body. I left the development sketch in a visible state so you can see it. I guessed at the layout sketch apex dimension, you can adjust it as needed. You can control the insertion depth of the three fittings using the offset values in the three joints at the end of the timeline. Model, as a F3Z, file is attached. You will have to Upload it to the Cloud to open it.
