How to change Properties shown in KG

Is there a way to set the properties tab to show Kg without changing the default document units to Meters from millimeters?

I am trying to design a heavy object but don't want to input the dimensions in meters but in mm.

Hi @jimskeet2002,

As you noticed, these properties are driven by the model units, so without changing them, it will not be displayed in kg to my knowledge. One thought I had regarding your dimensions however - you said that you did not want to enter units in meters but in mm. You can actually enter dimensions in whatever units you need to. For instance, if your model units are in meters, but you want to create a 10 mm line, you can actually just type 10 mm. As long as you have the "mm" it will do the conversion for you.

Thanks for the answer. I know that you can input the unit you want when dimensioning a sketch. But it shows as the default unit after on the sketch and this what I don' like so much. I guess when I want to check. the properties I can just change the units, and change back to mm right after.
