I want to apply a uniformly distributed load to a beam in Fusion 360 for which I have formed a static load study, but there seems to be no option to apply a uniformly varying load. can someone please help me?

Hi @u2021574,

Simulation doesn't support a uniformly varying load.

A workaround is to "chunk" the varying load into a series of uniform loads that vary in magnitude. Use the Split command to divide the top face of the beam into "chunks" and apply a unique load to each face.

Hope this helps.

I'm no engineer but isn't your load diagram showing variable distributed load?
