How to align components of a rigid group to another component?

I want to align the two towers in the rigid group to the base, so that they are centered along the x-axis. The towers should retain their relative position.
Basically, the midplanes should align after the procedure.

I've tried to align the midplane from the rigid group to the midplane of the base, but that simply moves the midplane, without moving the towers.

What's the best approach here?

Thanks for your help!

You don't want to aligne thes componets but check out the assembly joint functionality.

Here's a link to the documentation for joints.

Thanks for trying to help. But you're a bit cryptic.
Do you mean: I can't use the rigid group to align the components?
I'm aware of the joint functionality. But how does that help here?

Hi,

This is how it works with a joint.

However, like @TrippyLighting, I recommend that you study the basic knowledge of joints.
