Hi,

Files are bound to your account and not to the license.

You will have to use either of two methods and only one of them will work for 2D drawing files.  First method, to be used with 2D Drawings and their supporting model files.  Go to your A360 web database site using your educational license.  Select the 2D drawing and then select from the drop down menu, the Fusion 360 Archive.  This will export the drawing and the model to your email address in a F3Z format.

You can use the same method on just model files.  If you have just model files, you can open them in Fusion 360 and go to the File menu, and select Export and save them to your local drive.  This is the fastest method but this method does not support 2D drawing files.

If you transfer them to your new account, sure, the files are still Fusion 360 files.  Just remember, you must re-save them under your new account login after downloading them from your old educational account.
