How do we set the verification method for email?

Our school does not allow Cell Phones in class so the students can not use their phone for verification.

Do we have to input a phone number first then go through settings to disable the cell phone method?

Hi @jveger,

Using Phone number verification is optional. But Email verification is required.

We can also disable 2-step verification is one has activated.

1. Sign in to your account at profile.autodesk.com/security.
2. Click Edit under Set up 2-step verification.
3. Enter your email and password and click Continue.
4. Click Turn Off. A pop-up window appears asking to confirm. Click Turn Off.

I can't shut off the verification till the student is completely
registered. I went through the SMS method, got the texted code and
completed the registration, then by going into profile and security, it can
be shut off.
