How do I rebind the S Key?

Hello

I am trying to figure out how I can change the hotkey for the Shortcuts (S) Menu.

I know how to change hotkeys for other tools, however I cannot find the Shortcuts tool anywhere in the toolbar.

How do I change it?

I am using Fusion 2.0.5519 on MacOS 10.14.4

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! The S-key shortcut menu cannot be changed in Fusion 360 - unfortunately there is not currently a way to edit the keyboard shortcut for the s-menu.

Thank you, this is sad.

I am very used to having a command-search on spacebar in other programs and have trouble getting used to "s".

I hope this changes in the future.

Is this still the case? I would also love to change the shortcut to the spacebar or a one of the extra buttons on my mouse. Please make this possible fusion team!

Most mice vendors offer management software to redefine the buttons to anything you desire.  I use a Logitech mouse and they offer this type application.  So download the one for your mouse and reprogram an extra key to issue an "S".

That's a great idea for the mouse button. I would still love to make the spacebar pull up the shortcut menu as well. Thanks for the tip! Cheers!
