I was able to create a schematic in Fusion 360 but I cannot figure out how to print it or capture and output as a pdf.

See if this Fusion 360 help page will give you what you need.

There is no "Click the printer icon on the action toolbar to open the PRINT dialog." per the referenced Fusion 360 Help Page.

I finally found that you can enter "print" in the command line window to open a print dialog box. This work when printed to a printer but printing to Adobe pdf renders the text a mess. This is disappointing, to say the least.

Hello folks,

I am having this exact problem.  It seems that documentation and actual program don't match.

Having a printed circuit schematic is essential in my workflow.

If anybody has an efficient way to do that, please tell me.

Cheers,

Luiz

When printing as a pdf the only way it works is to Print to File (PDF). Why has this got to be such a wasteful effort? Seems it would be an icon button as noted in the instructions.

Hi I just a follow up and similar problem.

I can't hit the print to file no matter how hard I try.

I see it, but the arrow is in the way and there don't seam to be a way for me to get in working (See attached screenshot).

Hope the Fusion Team will solve this soon.

On the schematic near the top there is a window that says "Click or press Slash to activate command line mode"

If you click in the box, type "print" then press enter it will bring the print dialog up.  (Dont type the quotation marks).

I am assuming this is only because the eagle integration into fusion is in its infancy, but they really need to add a print button in the file drop down, and also one should probably be in the document tab.

I've finally decided to migrate to Fusion 360 Electronics from Eagle for my latest project, and have been running into some annoyances. One of the silliest - I can't print a schematic, or even save it as a PDF. Bad enough that there's still not a print command exposed in the UI, but following the instructions here (using the print command from the command line) isn't working either. I get the print window, but whatever I do - whether it's to print to a printer on my network, or save to a PDF, as soon as I click "OK" I get an info window saying "canceled". What gives? Do I need to take a screenshot just to share a schematic?

I'm having the exact same issue.  Click on Print.  Then no matter if I select a printer via "..." or pick "Print to File (PDF)" from the menu.  The "Printer" selection is still blank and I can't print.  Trying "Save as PDF" or "Open in Preview" from the native printer dialog doesn't work either.  Any solutions for this?
