How do I mount a coil spring on to a shaft.

I have drawn a coil spring and a shaft and don't know how to slide the spring over the shaft. I have tried the Assemble, Joint command without success. I would appreciate some assistance if possible.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

You did not attach your model so I am only guessing on your shaft and spring configuration.  I created a simple spring and shaft and placed a Slider Joint between them.  The shaft is grounded.  Please attach your model so the Forum users can match your exact needs.  Model is attached.
