Unable to select male threads for Hold and Thread Note.

Show in a screencast what you are talking about, especially the mode in which you are.

Are you referring to the pull down menu as the "mode".  I did make sure to select the "Home and Thread Note" type.  See attached screencast.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one with this issue.

Internal threads are fine. But trying to call out external threads, just doesn't work.
