Fusion 360 does not have a "Hobbyist" license anymore, you have a "Personal" license. It is just a matter of terminology, the application is the same. Next, what is your current version? You will find it under the "?" in the upper right hand corner. Once you click this, select the "About" entry. The current version is 2.0.12160. One of the reasons some Fusion 360 installs will not update automatically is that the version you have is behind the current version too many updates. If this is the case, you will have to install Fusion 360 manually, not re-install, just install.
For help with toolpaths, please attach your model. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.
