That you start fixing this UI and long standing bugs?
Forgive (well don't) the frustrated tone. But I sat down to do some schematic work got 2 popups ads and a banner banner inside the UI telling us that about discounts on plugins and that the old versions of MacOS will not be supported...
Ironic in that most of the bugs and UI issues in this software are older than any supported or modern version of MacOS.
I opened a schematic and began work. I had to flip over to read some datasheets and then "BLAM" the focus stealing, graphics clipping "Error" popup appears to tell me that my schematic can't be backed up but will try again later because the "net" command is editing my file... REALLY? Of course it is, I left it open to read search out and read the datasheets for the component I am working with. In the middle of that the phone rang and I had to open a spreadsheet and code window to deal with the call. All the while Fusion 360 repeatedly bubbling to the top to remind me that it can't create a recovery point!
Most of us use our computers for things OTHER than Fusion 360.
The focus stealing, graphics clipping popover that will not go away until we switch focus back to Fusion and close whatever tool was left open is just one of a dozen or or glaring and long-standing issues.
Why is this (and so many other UI annoyances) so insanely hard for you to recognize as bad practice. Why does 5 years of complaining fall on deaf ears? Why are you NOT using the MacOS and Windows notification interfaces that were introduced near a DECADE ago by Apple and Microsoft? Why do your developers insist on ignoring 25 years of modern UI best practices and ergonomics?
