Help with creating my sunglasses arm...Extruding a curved sketch

So I have draw the flat profile of the arm, but sunglasses arms are not flat, they curve inwards around the top of your ear. I have attempted many methods to curve my sketch over the perpendicular plane, but I cannot make it work. I have tried to extrude the top view sketch (the bend) then tried to project the flat profile onto it, which I have had some troubles with. I did manage to get there, but then I cant cut out the extra extruded volume as the sketch is not part of the extruded volume, just appears to be sitting on it...

Most simply, I would like to know how to extrude a curved (not flat) sketch.

I have completed the Fusion Mastery course on their site, but this is the first 'project' I have attempted by myself, so I'm pretty new to a lot of the features.

Something that was really annoying me, was that I found online that I should use the 'Patch' mode to use/extrude a sketch on a curved surface, but the patch feature won't allow me to select every line in my sketch, and after redrawing it several times, it then wont allow me to complete the function (OK button unclickable).

Any assistance on either the best way to do this (from the ground up) or with salvaging my failed attempts would be greatly appreciated, many thanks 🙂

It's 2 extrudes,

Did they mention

tangent constraints, fully defined sketches, and fixing lost projections

in that course?
